Mark is also the author of the Habitually Great book series, which won two “Indie Book Awards.” Within its pages Mark revealed the “Peak Life Habits'' personal improvement program he invented. He established and directed an esteemed coaching firm for individuals and organizations, which focused on principles and methodologies from the Habitually Great series.
Founder of MeWe and Inventor of the Industry’s First Privacy Bill of Rights
In 2016, Mark founded MeWe, the Facebook alternative with the industry’s first Privacy Bill of Rights. He led MeWe as its CEO until March 2021, earning numerous accolades, including being named a “Most Innovative Social Media Company” by Fast Company, a “Best Entrepreneurial Company In America” by Entrepreneur Magazine, and “Start-Up of the Year Finalist” at SXSW for “Innovative World Technology.” Under Mark’s leadership, MeWe grew to nearly 20 million users worldwide and millions of dollars in revenue—an unprecedented feat with no VC funding or marketing budget. Mark brought luminaries to MeWe’s Advisory Board including Web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Apple co-founder Steve “Woz '' Wozniak. He left MeWe to work on Restoring Our Sanity Online.
